Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance and Security Officer to join our team. As a Compliance and Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance and security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and security management, along with the necessary qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance and security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities and threats, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance and security-related matters.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and assessments.
• Maintain documentation of compliance and security activities, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in compliance and security practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Experience in compliance and security management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.
• Experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar.
• Experience with security tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
